MsMusiclover's Top Ten Favorite Aaliyah Songs « Msmusiclover99's Blog
[Msmusiclover99's Blog] Naturally sad because as we all know, this was the last video she made before she died. It’s beautiful because we were seeing Aaliyah in her element – happy, glowing and all woman. The tropical island of Bahamas and the slight reggae feel of the song was perfect backdrop for her let the guys know what she wanted in the bedroom, all with the coyness that only she could give. Ironically she wrote this song around 1998, but was never recorded because Blackground thought it was too “explicit”

Timbaland: “Lady GaGa took my style. Ciara is the next Aaliyah.”
[The Prophet Blog] Aaliyah changed the game of rnb n she was on a whole nother level n was so original n shs the best n my book..@eriod! I see ciara imitating aaliyah n playing like its unintentional the similarities between them but I see her tryna be aaliyah n she will never sucseed its true what he said that when u hear ciara it reminds u vaguely of liyah then u hear liyah n see she’s way better!
