[A year of adventures] Getting to grips with St Petersburg - A year of adventures: Next we headed to find a statue of Catherine the Great which promised to be the site of many chess and card games but when we arrived there was only one game going on so we had ice-cream and decided to go into a chuch (which we thought was Armenian) and sneaked a couple of photos as it was beautifully decorated!
