MOVIE & TV NEWS: Josh Hartnett is now in final talks to take the lead male role in Columbia Pictures ' " 30 Days of Night." Based on the comic book " 30 Days of Night," written by Steve Niles , the film is being directed by David Slade , adapted by Stuart Beattie and Brian Nelson .The adventure is set in Barrow, Alaska, the northernmost town in the U.S., where the sun does not appear for more than 30 days during the dead of winter.
