[Liberal Conspiracy] Liberal Conspiracy » David Davis shows why we can't trust Tories: If Mitchell had not designed the Spitfire and Chamberlain decided the duty of the RAF was to defend Britain, the Battle of Britain would have been lost. The Trenchard doctrine basically considered it was impossible to defend a country from bombers and the duty of the RAF was to bomb the enemy not destroy the enemy’s bombers.

[Connect the World] Connect the World: Blog Archive - Does Obama deserve Nobel Peace ...: its very shocking and makes mockery of the whole idea of a nobel,Obama has just barely assumed office as us president and honestly should have been given more than enough time before such a highly valued award be given to him,he is full of ideas but these ideas are yet untested ,the nobel peace comitte does appear to be loosing focus ,ccause one begins to wonder if they were asleep with names like human rights lawyer,Chief Gani Fawehinmi, who died in the struggle for justice and many more who have laid their lives in the course of the struggle for peace ,equality and justice accross the troubled world.Obama is no less a personality but such award is like giving the answers before asking the question,no wonder obama would become the 1st nobel whose award is greeted with a lot of divided opinions, the us president should in the interest of good conscience rteject the award.
