(I refused to see My Sister's Keeper because I heard about the ending change.) The Horse Whisperer pulled a switcheroo on the ending, too, and I felt it was much more believable than the book ending. To Kill a Mockingbird, the movie, was equally as good as the book. And I thought the film version of A Time To Kill was as good as the book. Rosemary's Baby was another good example of a movie equally as compelling as the book, but these are all the exceptions. Loved The Notebook! But preferred the book.
